Reduced hours at Whitehorse Public Library

Due to staffing shortages, we've made the difficult decision to reduce evening hours for the next few weeks. Starting Monday, July 21, the Whitehorse Public Library will close at 6:00 pm each evening. Expect these summer hours to be in effect for the next six to eight weeks.

The updated hours are:

Monday: 12 pm to 6 pm

Tuesday to Sunday: 10 am to 6 pm

Library card holders can continue to access digital resources anytime, and new users can sign up for a library card online.

Tagish Community Library Update

The Tagish Community Centre fire resulted in a total loss of the building. Library services, which were housed in the Community Centre, are on hold until further notice. We ask for your patience at this time while we work with the library staff and community to restore library services.
